CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) _ Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IDRA) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $14.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for a loss of 8 cents per share.
The drugmaker posted revenue of $173,000 in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $66 million, or 42 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $902,000.
The company's shares closed at $1.97. A year ago, they were trading at $1.99.
