Del Frisco's reports 4Q loss

SOUTHLAKE, Texas (AP) _ Del Frisco's Restaurant Group Inc. (DFRG) on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $15.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Southlake, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 73 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 39 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 43 cents per share.

The restaurant operator posted revenue of $121.9 million in the period, also missing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $123.1 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $11.5 million, or 53 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $361.4 million.

Del Frisco's expects full-year earnings in the range of 66 cents to 76 cents per share.

Del Frisco's shares have increased 18 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen almost 9 percent in the last 12 months.
