WESTMOUNT, Quebec (AP) _ Dorel Industries Inc. (DIIBF) on Thursday reported a loss of $3 million in its fourth quarter.
The Westmount, Quebec-based company said it had a loss of 9 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 62 cents per share.
The maker of bicycles, child safety products and home furnishings posted revenue of $677.1 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $30.6 million, or 94 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $2.58 billion.
Dorel Industries shares have fallen 10 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 15 percent in the last 12 months.
