BROOKLYN, N.Y. (AP) _ J.W. Mays Inc. (MAYS) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $2.5 million.
On a per-share basis, the Brooklyn, New York-based company said it had profit of $1.21. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, came to 4 cents per share.
The commercial real estate leasing company posted revenue of $4.8 million in the period.
J.W. Mays shares have fallen nearly 3 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $38, a decrease of 8 percent in the last 12 months.
