Tillerson says several steps needed for U.S. talks with North Korea

ABUJA, March 12 (Reuters) - Several steps will be necessary to agree the location and scope of talks between the United States and North Korea, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Monday.

Tillerson, who made the comments during a visit to Nigeria's capital Abuja, also said the United States had not heard anything back from North Korea on the issue of talks but expected to hear something directly from them. He did not clarify the nature of the steps needed for the talks. (Reporting by Paul Carsten Writing by Alexis Akwagyiram Editing by Catherine Evans)
