MOORESTOWN, N.J. (AP) _ Tabula Rasa Healthcare Inc. (TRHC) on Monday reported fourth-quarter net income of $10.9 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Moorestown, New Jersey-based company said it had profit of 55 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 9 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 17 cents per share.
The developer of health care software posted revenue of $43.9 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $39.1 million.
For the year, the company reported net income of $14.3 million, or 76 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $134.5 million.
For the current quarter ending in April, Tabula Rasa Healthcare said it expects revenue in the range of $42 million to $43 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $185 million to $195 million.
Tabula Rasa Healthcare shares have increased 35 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $37.80, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
