How the Business Producing Workshop Could Lead to an Interview at CNBC

CNBC Business Journalism Workshop.
Gwen McCray | CNBC

Business journalists are focused on telling stories about business, markets, economics, and general interest money stories.

To successfully convey business stories to an audience, CNBC journalists must be committed to presenting up-to-the-minute, deeply sourced and objective information that affects business and society in real time.

This summer, the CNBC Business Producing Workshop will provide experienced journalists with an opportunity to work directly with CNBC producers to learn the tools of financial journalism.

Some workshop attendees may be selected at the end of the workshop for an opportunity to visit CNBC Global Headquarters for interviews with members of CNBC's executive team.

When and where is the workshop?
The workshop will take place on August 10 at the 2018 NABJ Annual Convention in Detroit, Michigan.

The workshop is targeted toward current multimedia journalists with 3-5 years of professional experience in general news or business news. Applicants must be registered, or plan to register, for the 2018 NABJ Annual Convention in Detroit, MI. (Registration subject to verification).
