See Yourself at CNBC! Learn about our Business Journalism Workshops

Christine Wang | CNBC

CNBC is a global, multimedia brand focused on business, markets, economies and general interest money topics.

CNBC is thrilled to be hosting educational workshops at the upcoming journalist association conventions.

The Business Journalism Workshops represent our strong commitment to educating entry-level and professional journalists about the fundamental values of world-class business journalism. The workshops offer our attendees a glimpse into how our CNBC newsroom teams interact and operate every day.

During the workshops, CNBC anchors, producers and editors lead interactive exercises designed to demonstrate the skills, techniques and strategies our journalists use to cover business news stories in real time.

CNBC is hosting three workshops this summer

The Business Reporting Workshop targets on-air reporters and multimedia journalists with a minimum 3-5 years of professional experience. After the workshop, some participants could have an opportunity to visit CNBC for a camera test and interviews. This year's workshop will take place on August 2 in Atlanta, Georgia at the 2019 AAJA National Convention.

The Business News Associate Workshop targets recent college and post-graduates and includes a panel, breaking news simulation and individual interviews with CNBC professionals. We are proud to say we have hired several entry-level journalists out of this workshop. This year's workshop will take place on August 9 in Miami, Florida at the 2019 NABJ Annual Convention & Career Fair.

The Business Producing Workshop targets general news journalists with a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience. Some participants could have an opportunity after the workshop to visit CNBC for interviews with members of our executive team. This year's workshop will take place on September 6 in San Antonio, Texas at the 2019 EIJ Conference.

We look forward to welcoming this year's attendees

We are delighted to roll out our welcome mat, which has been used to greet new employees, company leaders and even a former President of the United States.

The welcome mat features a circle of stars that represents the rising stars we have met through our workshops.

We look forward to adding more stars to our circle this summer and hope you will apply!
