WARSAW, Ind. (AP) _ OrthoPediatrics Corp. (KIDS) on Monday reported a loss of $5 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Warsaw, Indiana-based company said it had a loss of 41 cents.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 28 cents per share.
The maker of orthopedic devices posted revenue of $12.1 million in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $11.4 million.
OrthoPediatrics shares have risen nearly 1 percent since the beginning of the year.
