More Americans are working from home than ever before, and the trend is radically transforming how workers make, spend and save their money.

According to a Gallup poll, more than 43 percent of employed Americans spend some time working remotely. This share is likely to increase over time in part because of the ways in which it can save workers and employers money. Remote job site FlexJobs estimates that working from home can save workers as much as $4,668, while Quartz calculates that telecommuters can save $2,524 a year.

Not only does working remotely help workers cut down on costs associated with things like transportation and food, but remote roles can also offer generous compensation. Remote work resource Remote.co recently analyzed online job postings and found that several positions offer six-figure salaries to employees who work from home.

Here are seven jobs that pay over $100,000 and can be done from the comfort of your own home:

UX designer

Potential salary: up to $103,038

Job description: "Reporting to the design manager, this person will be creating interfaces for mobile users, including mobile apps on iOS and Android. Don't forget to showcase your strong portfolio and five years of experience in user interface, user experience, and interaction design."

Front-end developer

Potential salary: up to $103,047

Job description: "As a member of our front-end engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to enhance our users' experience by proposing and implementing improvements and new features in a variety of apps. We are looking for highly communicative, auto managed, hard-working guys with great tech skills. You are expected to learn from and contribute to team knowledge. Project manager

Potential salary: up to $108,466

Senior software engineer

Potential salary: up to $146,381

Potential salary: up to $255,742
