Japan July core machinery orders rise 11 pct mth/mth

TOKYO, Sept 13 (Reuters) - Japan's core machinery orders rose 11.0 percent in July from the previous month, the government said on Thursday, in a sign that capital expenditure could pick up. Compared with a year earlier, core orders, a highly volatile data series regarded as an indicator of capital spending in the coming six to nine months, increased 13.9 percent in July.
