CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on U.S.-China trade worries

May 17 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index fell broadly at the open on Friday as Chinese media took a tough stance on the trade war between the United States and China, reviving fears of a global economic slowdown.
