Hungary 2019 growth could be around 4.3-4.4%, finance minister tells newswire

BUDAPEST, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Hungary's 2019 economic output growth could be around 4.3-4.4% according to a conservative estimate, state news agency MTI quoted finance minister Mihaly Varga as saying on Wednesday.

Hungary's first two quarters saw economic growth close to a 15-year high at 5.3% in the first quarter and 4.9% in the second quarter, and Varga said that pace could be sustained for the rest of the year. (Reporting by Marton Dunai Editing by Peter Graff)
