List Celebrates Firms Uncovering New Ways to Help Clients Navigate Complex Financial Lives
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., October 10, 2019 – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced the CNBC FA 100, a ranked list of forward-thinking financial advisory firms that continue to find new and better ways to assist clients to meet their financial goals.
Given the increased complexity of our financial lives, investors are seeking more guidance and education regarding income investment planning and advisors can play a key role in helping them increase and protect their wealth.
Over the next 25 years, according to a report from research firm Cerulli Associates, the U.S. will see the biggest generational wealth transfer with 45 million households passing $68 trillion to their children. The top-ranked advisory firms on the CNBC FA 100 list are using consumer-focused strategies from developing creative client segmentation practices to intergenerational engagement, which helps advisors serve their client's children, to further connect with their clients.
The list was selected from more than 1,000 qualifying firms using a proprietary methodology developed by CNBC in partnership with data provider AccuPoint Solutions. Key categories in the methodology include years in business, average account size and total accounts under management, among others. CNBC and AccuPoint Solutions determined the weighting for each category, further refining and ranking the firms, ultimately creating the list of CNBC FA 100.
