Mexican 3rd quarter GDP may have been negative - central bank board member

MEXICO CITY, Oct 28 (Reuters) - There is a considerable risk that Mexican gross domestic product contracted in the third quarter, central bank board member Jonathan Heath wrote on Twitter on Monday.

Heath said that Mexico's latest trade data suggested economic activity may have shrunk in September compared to the previous month, which meant there was a "high probability that GDP in the third quarter ends up in negative territory." (Reporting by Sharay Angulo; Editing by Alison Williams)
