BOJ's Kuroda calls for structural reforms to boost Japan's growth potential

TOKYO, Nov 29 (Reuters) - Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said on Friday structural reforms must accompany fiscal and monetary stimulus measures to heighten the economy's long-term growth potential.

He also told parliament the central bank's ultra-loose monetary policy is aimed at achieving its 2% inflation target, not at helping government fund its spending. (Reporting by Leika Kihara; Editing by Muralikumar Anantharaman)
