Dutch police said on Saturday they had arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with a stabbing incident that took place in The Hague on Friday, in which three youth were wounded.

In a statement, Hague police described the suspect as "not having any fixed home or place to stay."

Police launched a manhunt after the attack, which took place on a busy shopping street near the city's historic center. The area was cordoned off and dozens of police and ambulances were on the scene.

All the victims were minors and are receiving treatment, police said in a statement, adding that their families have been informed.
