China calls on relevant parties to exercise restraint in the Middle East

China's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday the situation in the Middle East was sensitive and complex and called on relevant parties to exercise restraint.

Worsening of tensions in the Middle East is in no one's interests and relevant parties should properly resolve conflicts though dialogue, ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said at a daily news briefing in Beijing.
