Argentine inflation seen at 41.7% in 2020 -central bank poll

BUENOS AIRES, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Argentina economists expect 41.7% inflation in 2020, down from the previous 42.2% estimate, according to the median forecast in a monthly central bank poll released on Tuesday.

The 40 analysts surveyed from Jan. 29-31 saw an economic contraction of 1.5% this year, according the median forecast, versus a 1.6% estimated contraction in the poll released a month earlier.

By 2021, the economy was expected to expand 1.7% and by 2022 it was seen growing by 2.0%, the economists said. (Reporting by Walter Bianchi and Hugh Bronstein; Editing by Richard Chang)
