John Rogers says it's time for 'comeuppance' for high-flying tech stocks

Investor John Rogers said Thursday that he was not surprised by the day's sell-off in tech stocks, saying he expected growth stocks to underperform going forward.

Rogers, the co-CEO of Ariel Investments, said on "Closing Bell" that the sentiment around tech stocks became too bullish in recent weeks, foreshadowing a pullback.
