Cramer says he likes more stocks now 'than I can ever recall.' Here are some names

CNBC's Jim Cramer said Wednesday he sees a bountiful amount of attractive stocks, including some mega-cap tech companies that have faced recent weakness and names geared toward the reopening. "There are many stocks, more than I can ever recall, that I like right now," Cramer said on "Halftime Report." For example, the "Mad Money" host pointed Trane Technologies , an Irish manufacturing company. "How can you not want to own Trane?" he asked rhetorically. "The thing that is keeping you back from owning Trane is there are 70 'Tranes' that you want to own, maybe 80 'Tranes'.'" Trane reported first-quarter earnings earlier Wednesday, raising its full-year guidance on revenue and earnings per share. Shares of Trane were higher by 2.5% Wednesday. Cramer also spoke favorably about are companies that stand to benefit from the entertainment and hospitality recovery as the Covid vaccine rollout enables more people to feel comfortable traveling. Wynn Resorts — which Cramer's charitable trust owns —is one of those stocks. But Cramer said he likes Las Vegas Sands , too. "I think LVS is just a monster waiting to happen," he said. Las Vegas Sands shares are up less than 1% year to date. Recent weakness in large tech companies has created attractive entry points, Cramer said. "When I look at something like Alphabet , I can't believe I can get it again," Cramer said, alluding to the fact shares of the Google parent have pulled back somewhat after its earnings report last week. The stock was down around 4% from its intraday all-time high on April 28. " Microsoft , I cannot believe that you can get it that low after what was a great quarter," Cramer added. On Wednesday afternoon, shares of Microsoft traded nearly 6% below their all-time intraday high on April 27, the same day the company reported earnings after the bell . Cramer said he also sees opportunity in the financial sector, specifically Wells Fargo . "I like the banks, and I think I love Wells Fargo more than I like JPMorgan because Wells Fargo was so bad before it got to Charlie Scharf," Cramer said, referring to the company's chief executive. Scharf took the helm in late 2019 , as the bank tried to overcome a tumultuous few years . Shares of Wells Fargo have risen more than 50% this year.
