What I am looking at January 25, 2022: Playing the bounce, need to see it lower in order to have a reasonable chance of bouncing... good that we are going down , we need to retest the low of Monday to make any headway, especially ahead of the Fed... I like that the nine-to-one negative volume caused it but we still finished with more negative than positive so not done... Watch my Morning Meeting live at 10:20 am with Jeff Marks as we discuss when is the right time to buy...It will be like what Andy Reid told Mahomes Sunday night: "When it's grim, be the Grim Reaper and go get it." 3M (MMM) beat—low bar beat... $2.31 EPS v. $2.01 est...higher prices...Omicron masks... Did IBM (IBM) really beat?...but cash flow not as big as people thought miss of $1B… controversial because growth was best in 11 years... Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) looks weaker... medical device expect improvement; orthopedics down—elective; consumer health supply chain sluggish; health and beauty down... good for Procter & Gamble (PG) … Strongest growth in otc Tylenol, Motrin... Break-up looks strong General Electric (GE) —buy it off cash flow? $5.8b.. I like the aviation, renewables not so hot... health care needs chips... American Express (AXP) ... I like the number and the forecast... big gain... $12.15B rev v. $11.54B est... 60% of growth of cards is millennials... leisure side on fire... we are back and this stock is much cheaper than the fintechs... JPMorgan's Boss says Kohl's (KSS) still too cheap... says retailers are too cheap... Logitech (LOGI) results much better than expected... CEO on Mad Money tonight... looking fabulous on Apple-like biz... Piper Estee Lauder (EL) raises price target to $380 from $364...starts Ulta (ULTA) with buy and $475 price taget. PPG (PPG) pt lowered from $185 to $175 at Barclays...still guiding down... Raytheon Technologies (RTX) ... backlog of $156B... $93B commercial, $63B defense...war story?... Snowflake (SNOW) ...Loop upgrades to buy... $370 target...stock at $277... long term forecast says buy Nike (NKE) ... Wells Fargo says time to buy—risk reward Emoji buyers – are they being blown out with GameStop (GME) and AMC (AMC) —the bloom is off the rose and no other new ideas...
