Investing Club: One of our top stocks dropped into our buy zone and we scooped up more shares

We're making another buy into the sell-off Tuesday. We're buying 50 shares of Disney (DIS) at roughly $145.87. Following the trade, the portfolio will own 900 shares of Disney, increasing its weighting to about 3.4% from 3.21%. Tuesday's rough market has brought shares of Disney back down to the low $140s at the worst levels of the session, a buy zone we revealed in Friday's rapid fire update on all the stocks in the Charitable Trust. Remember we create these thresholds during calmer times so that we have the confidence to buy when the market gets nasty with stocks selling off left and right. Disney is about one month removed from an exceptional quarter that saw upside come from both streaming and the parks. In the streaming, Disney+ subscriber growth came in above expectations last quarter, but what we are looking forward to most is what should be an extremely favorable second half of the company's fiscal year. This is when Disney+ subscriber growth trends are expected to meaningfully pick up and accelerate thanks to new market launches and the consistent release of more fresh content to the platform. One new show we can't wait to see is Marvel's "Moon Knight," scheduled to premiere on March 30. In parks, this side of the business is on a tear right now and the Domestic Park operating leverage has been absolutely phenomenal, with profits exceeding levels that were achieved even before Covid, despite attendance still below 2019 levels. This is also all happening without a meaningful recovery in international travelers, who could soon find there way back to the parks as pandemic-related restrictions ease around the country and the world. With DIS shares back at this key level for us — down from our most recent buy last Wednesday and at a price where we can meaningfully help our basis — we're scooping up more shares.
