What I'm looking at March 25, 2022 Bank of America: "Deep dive into the nest 100bn data center silicon leader" Marvell Technology (MRVL). Reiterates buy, top pick, multiple growth cylinders, broad portfolio. "MANGO": MRVL, AVGO/AMD/ADI, NVDA, GFS, ON ... Bank of America calls it "crude attempt" at constructing a FAANG equivalent in semiconductor stocks. Pot stocks flying on news the Federal Marijuana Legalization Bill is officially scheduled for House vote next week. Removes cannabis from the list of federally controlled substances. Tilray Brands (TLRY) up again. Fortinet (FTNT) downgraded to hold from buy at Bank of America. Analyst says strong results are already reflected in stock price. The cybersecurity company's shares were down 2% in premarket trading. No one downgrades cyber now. Chewy (CHWY) price target lowered to $48 from $61 at Citi. Citi keeping more conservative view of 2022, maintains hold rating. Citi also cuts price targets on the homebuilders: Toll Brothers (TOL) $52 from $62; PulteGroup (PHM) $55 from $62; D.R. Horton (DHI) $108 to $97. The beginning of the end of the cycle as forecasted by weak quarter from KB Home (KBH). Soft landing or crash landing ... homebuilders down 5%. Darden (DRI) price target cut to $160 from $173 at Barclays ... Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, BMO Capital cut too. RBC Capital raises price target for Palo Alto Networks (PANW) to $710 from $670 top idea—double digit growth Evercore on "four underappreciated elements" of Amazon (AMZN): shipping elasticity, brand advertising revenue, grocery opportunity, and shares are cheap. Disney (DIS) could get hurt by box office, but Spiderman pulls in. I think people still want to go out. Wells likes parks for Disney — "a Signature Pick." The European Union targets U.S. tech giants with a new rulebook aimed at curbing their dominance. Oh please, more check writing. Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY): Three new board members with Ryan Cohen's people ... the activist investor also behind GameStop (GME) has 9.8% stake in BBBY. Cohen wants to unlock Buy Buy Baby chain. Snap (SNAP): Loop Capital sees multiple levers working for SNAP to maintain industry leading growth ... says "1Q expectations seem quite reasonable." Honest Company (HNST) premarket disaster, down 18.5%. Jefferies downgrades stock to hold from buy, sees flat growth in 2022. Honest results for Q4 below expectations, issues weaker guidance. Tesla (TSLA): Wedbush says Tesla sales are strong, China and Europe tracking "at least 15%+ ahead of Street expectations." Meta Platforms (FB), Facebook and Instagram parent ...
