Investing Club: Our final charity-related share sales contributed to this year's $579,148 donation

We're making a few more sales in Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust portfolio to replenish our cash balance following another — and final — round of cash distributions. Looking at our Portfolio page Wednesday, you'll see our cash position is $179,148 lower. We sent out that amount late Tuesday as part of the Trust's annual contribution. That brings the total distribution to $579,148 year to date. As a reminder, every year the Trust, whose stock holdings serve as the portfolio for the Investing Club, distributes all income and realized capital gains to qualified publicly supported charitable organizations. Even though we're done sending money out, we find it necessary to make another round of sales to get our cash position as a percentage of the portfolio back to above 7% where it was before distribution. We're selling some stock in three positions. Selling 35 shares of Danaher (DHR) Selling 75 shares of Boeing (BA) Selling 125 shares of Wynn Resorts (WYNN) We're trimming a mix of stocks we believe in like Danaher and those that are out of our favor including Boeing and Wynn Resorts. On Danaher, this is our first-time taking stock off as part of our distribution-related pro-rata sales. As much as we like the stock, our goal has been to address every single position in the portfolio as part of this process, when trading restrictions allow. Please note these trades do not reflect our views on the individual stocks . As a result, we're maintaining our current ratings and price targets .
