CNBC's Will Koulouris is speaking to Sid Choraria, senior portfolio manager of Gordian Capital. Sid discusses his market outlook and pick his favorite stocks in head-to-head matchups between Tesla vs. Nio, Amazon vs. Alibaba, Meta vs. Tencent and more.
A stream of the conversation will be available to CNBC Pro subscribers here at 2:30 p.m. SIN / 6:30 a.m. GMT / 2:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday, April 13.
Sid will be sharing about the stocks he thinks will outperform the market in the long run.
His long-term investing strategy caught the eye of legendary investor Warren Buffett when he identified an under-followed 135-year-old Japanese company called Kobayashi Pharmaceutical. Since that call in 2013, Kobayashi's share price has tripled.Â
Prior to joining Gordian Capital, Sid held in investment roles with Amiral Gestion, Goldman Sachs Technology Investment Banking, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley in Asia.
