How a wireless network disrupted one small business

Created for T-Mobile

Little did Patrick LaMear know when he entered T-Mobile's Un-leash your Business contest at iCONIC that it would alter dramatically the trajectory of his business. The prize Patrick received was a full T-Mobile business package, six tablets and four mobile phones, all with access to the network. The effect, he said, has been "astonishing. It's disruptor technology."

Patrick is the founder of Urban Reclamations, a Seattle-based company that creates custom furniture from reclaimed wood. Locating and sourcing his core material had been taking valuable time away from managing his business. Using his T-Mobile tools, he has turned the procurement process on its head. The transition to new technology has freed him to concentrate on his passion – creating heirloom furniture for his clients.
