Finding the right talent to help you build your business can be a challenge. But knowing exactly what you're looking for can be a solid start – from the basic questions of roles and responsibilities to some of the more nuanced facets of hiring, understanding your goals is important to the hiring process.
At this year's iCONIC event in Denver, entrepreneurs from across the nation talked about how they go about building a team.
"Sixty five percent of startups fail because of team issues. If the founding team doesn't have good dynamics working with one another, then the whole company will fall apart," said Nicole Glaros, Chief Product Officer of Techstars.
Other attendees impressed the importance of employee retention, out-of-the-box thinking, and the need for a team with diverse and complementary strengths.
