Alex Harring is a summer 2020 intern on the CNBC digital news desk, working with the consumer and health teams. He studies English at the University of Michigan, where he works as an editor overseeing coverage of academics and student government for The Michigan Daily. Alex previously interned with the Detroit Metro Times and worked on a long-term project for Bridge Magazine highlighting the unique experiences of low-income students at U-M.
