Chrysler Recalls Over 500,000 Vehicles, Most for Headrests
Chrysler said Wednesday that it was recalling more half a million vehicles, most of them because active restraint headrests might malfunction.
Most of the affected vehicles are in the United States.

About 490,000 cars and SUVs will be recalled because of potentially faulty microcomputer components for headrests that are designed to move forward during rear-end crashes.
Chrysler said it is not aware of any injuries or accidents connected to this issue.

The recall affects 2011-13 Chrysler Sebring, Chrysler 200, Dodge Avenger and Jeep Liberty vehicles, as well as 2011-12 Dodge Nitro SUVs.
Separately, Chrysler will recall about 69,000 4x4 pickups to update electronic stability control software.
