Lefties earn less money than righties: Report

A new study claims you could earn 12 percent less if you are a leftie, the Daily Mail reported.

"Left-handed individuals show consistently lower cognitive skills and higher rates of mental and behavioral disabilities," Harvard professor and economist Joshua Goodman wrote in the Journal of Economic Perspectives.

"This paper is the first to demonstrate that lefties also have consistently lower labor market earnings than right-handed individuals," he said.

One in eight people prefer using their left hand to their right, the news service said.
