Cerus - The provider of biomedical products fell in after-hours trading after saying it intends to offer shares of its common stock to the public.

Cyberonics - The medical technology supplier fell in after-hours trading after saying in a statement it was "disappointed" by a decision from the Department of Health and Human Services related to its VNS Therapy System.

DDR - The owner and manager of shopping centers gained in extended hours after increasing its quarterly dividend 11 percent.

Minerva Neurosciences - The drug developer rose in after-hours trading after saying a study found its compound improved symptoms of Parkinson's disease in primates.

Salix Pharmaceuticals - Shares rose in after-hours trading after the company said Carolyn Logan would retire as president and chief executive officer, effective Jan. 30.
