Judges allows woman to serve divorce papers this way
Add this to the long list of things you can do on Facebook: serve divorce papers. Well, that is according to a landmark ruling by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper, reports The New York Daily News.
Ellanora Baidoo, a Brooklyn nurse, got the green light to server her flighty husband divorce papers through the Facebook messenger app.
"This transmittal shall be repeated by plaintiff's attorney to defendant once a week for three consecutive weeks or until acknowledged" by her husband, wrote Justice Cooper.

The 26-year-old's lawyer, Andrew Spinnell, told the New York Daily News, "I think it's new law, and it's necessary."
Spinell said that this came after several failed attempts to locate Baidoo's husband whom she hasn't seen for years. The first Facebook message was sent out last week but she hasn't gotten a response yet.
