Stephen Colbert is giving America one more reason to smile.

On Thursday the comedian announced that he will fund every classroom project in South Carolina on DonorsChoose.org, a crowdfunding site that allows teachers to request materials and experiences for their students. The contribution totals $800,000 and will finance nearly 1,000 projects for more than 800 teachers at over 375 schools. (Tweet this)
