Ashley Madison owner CEO is stepping down
Notorious adultery site Ashley Madison's parent company is getting a leadership change after a widespread data breach exposed customers' personal information.
Avid Life Media announced Friday its CEO Noel Biderman stepped down and was no longer with the company, effective Friday.
The leadership change follows a hacking that revealed the email addresses of more than 30 million members of Avid Life Media's dating websites, at least one of which was targeted at married members. As a result, law firms have said they would file lawsuits against the Canadian company.

"This change is in the best interest of the company and allows us to continue to provide support to our members and dedicated employees," the company said in a statement. "We are steadfast in our commitment to our customer base."
In Fridays statement, the company said they are still adjusting to the attack and cooperating with law enforcement. Avid Life Media has not yet appointed Biderman's replacement, according to the statement.
