Pope Francis' upcoming trip to the East Coast may, by coincidence, be ill-timed for die-hard iPhone fans in several major cities, according to technology website MacRumors.

Tightened security for papal visits to New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. begins this week, which happens to coincide with the in-store release of Apple's iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, slated for Friday, September 25. That could leave new iPhones languishing on the delivery truck, MacRumors reports, because delivery services like UPS are expecting shipment delays due to road closures.
