Trump to Clinton: 'You'd be in jail' if I was in charge

Donald Trump on Sunday night threatened to appoint a "special prosecutor" to investigate Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while secretary of state.

When Clinton responded that it is a good thing Trump is not in charge of the country's laws, Trump fired back that "you'd be in jail." The exchange took place during the second presidential debate in St. Louis.

FBI Director James Comey said the agency's investigation found some of the emails sent on her private server contained classified information, adding that Clinton was "extremely careless." However, he recommended that the Department of Justice not bring charges against her.

Trump and other Republicans have claimed that Clinton is above the law, though there is no evidence to suggest Comey, a Republican, or Attorney General Loretta Lynch gave her special treatment.
