Facebook lacks leadership: Porter Bibb
Facebook needs "some real serious management" for its stock price to show appreciation, Media Tech Partners Managing Partner Porter Bibb said Wednesday.
"I don't think it's going to go anywhere near-time," he said. "I think maybe it'll get back up to $28 or $30 in a year because they are reaching into developing markets with a feature-phone product that's simplified Facebook."
On CNBC's "Fast Money," Bibb noted that Facebook wasn't moving into one important market.
"They're going to find big markets in India and Brazil and Indonesia, but they're not in China to any extent," he said. "They don't really have advertising capability in those markets, so I think it's a 'hold' or basically a 'walk-away-from,' unless they get some real serious management in there that knows how to monetize" its user base.

Shares of Facebook traded at $26.28 midday, up 0.57 percent.
The company will report quarterly earnings after the stock market close.

Bibb said that he wasn't expecting much.
"I'm looking for a decline in advertising revenue and not much else," he said. "He's going to be a little bit about Graph, which is their killer advertising metric provider that they haven't really capitalized on yet."
Bibb also noted that CEO Mark Zuckerberg has done little to lure investors in the stock.
"Look, the volume has disappeared on Facebook trading, and Zuckerberg's got to step up," he said. "He hasn't really told anybody anything that's going to capture attention."
