Dell - The computer hardware company reported earnings excluding one-time items of 39 cents a share on revenue of $13.72, missing expectations for 40 cents a share on sales of $13.90 billion. Gap - The clothing retailer posted earnings of 63 cents a share, matching expectations, on revenue of $3.86 billion, topping forecasts for $3.82 billion.
