Current Occupation: Farmer

Previous Occupation: Teacher / Professor

Fernando, a founding member of the "Cuba Organic Farming Association," sees agriculture as a means of promoting socialism. Marcus' Takeaway: "He not only pays his workers more than the average government wage, he feeds them and houses some of them, too."
