GfK User Centric's Global Team to Share UX Best Practices and Lessons Learned in Webinar Series

CHICAGO, Oct. 23, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GfK User Centric, the largest global user experience research and design firm, today announced the next installment in its We Believe Experiences Matter webinar series. In the hour-long, free webinar, Gavin Lew, Executive Vice President at GfK User Centric, will give current students, recent graduates and young user experience professionals insight and practical perspectives on user experience (UX) research from his 20 years of experience in academic and corporate environments. Lew will discuss four beneficial lessons in crafting a complete user experience, measuring usability, collecting and interpreting complex data, and designing interfaces for the end-to-end user experience.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, October 30, at noon CDT. Interested professionals can register at

"User experience research is part art and all science," said Lew. "As organizations increasingly develop tools to connect with their users, sharing discussions and best practices in UX research allows us all to build upon each others' experiences and knowledge. Ultimately, it's about sound methods to get us where we need to go."

The webinar series will continue on November 15 and December 4 with discussions on usability considerations for contact centers and the power and limitations of software dashboards, respectively.
