Wells Fargo Securities Hires Jeff McGrath as Managing Director in Industrials Investment Banking

McGrath Leads Defense, Aerospace and Technology Services Investment Banking

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wells Fargo Securities, the capital markets and investment banking business of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC), today announced that Jeff McGrath has joined the company as a managing director in the Industrials Investment Banking group. McGrath leads the Defense, Aerospace and Technology Services (DATS) team, and reports to John Church, head of Industrials.

In addition to McGrath, a team of four supporting bankers and administrative personnel have joined the Industrials team, also focusing on the DATS sectors. All five team members come to Wells Fargo Securities from Sagent Advisors, and are based in Charlotte, N.C. The newcomers have joined the existing team of bankers focused on the sectors.

McGrath brings more than 20 years of investment banking experience to his new role in Wells Fargo Securities. Most recently, he was managing director and head of the DATS and IT Services & Outsourcing practices at Sagent Advisors. Prior to Sagent, McGrath was a managing director and head of the DATS Investment Banking group at Wachovia Securities. He spent 15 years with Wachovia Securities and its predecessor firm, First Union Securities, building an industry-leading advisory practice in the sectors. McGrath received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Economics from Baylor University.
