Let The Kids Grow Foundation's mission is to develop youth and their families through out-of-school time and family strengthening programs in their communities. Founder Percy Miller has discovered a way to keep inner-city youth off the streets, away from drugs and gang violence by providing a safe haven to express themselves with positive energy, through music, film and dance. LTKG offers afterschool and summer programs for children ages 4 to 18 with access to academic support, performing arts, nutrition programs and guidance counseling. A highlight of the Foundation is the Backpack program. Backpacks are filled with food and school supplies and distributed to children taking part in the Let the Kids Grown Foundation. Let The Kids Grow programs give youth and their families the tools they need to break negative cycles and the opportunity to follow their dreams and become positive, confident, contributing members of the community.
