Pivot Charter School North Bay Invites Public to Nov. 14 Grand Opening of Santa Rosa Facility

School’s Online and Site-Based Programs Offer North Bay Students a Personalized Approach to Learning

SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pivot Charter School, North Bay, a free public charter school that offers full-time programs for students, grades 6-12, in Sonoma and surrounding counties, invites local students and parents to attend the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art facility. The grand opening is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. at its new location on 1577 Farmers Lane, Santa Rosa. Attendees will be able to meet Pivot administrators and staff, learn more about the individualized, self-paced curriculum and tour its learning lab, classrooms and tutoring rooms.

We are excited that our expanded Santa Rosa facility will help us reach even more North Bay students.”

Pivot North Bay offers site-based and virtual programs that tailor learning through an online curriculum that lets students learn at their own pace. Students in the site-based program attend the Santa Rosa facility from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays/Thursdays or 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and receive support from credentialed teachers on-site and online. Students who choose the completely virtual option complete their coursework from the comfort of their own homes, have online access to credentialed teachers who provide real-time instruction 24 hours a day Monday through Friday and can meet with teachers in person at Pivot’s Santa Rosa facility if additional assistance is needed.

Pivot Charter School offers more than 15 Advanced Placement courses, unique electives like music theory and graphic arts, credit recovery and early graduation options. Students can jump-start their college careers with dual enrollment in college courses. In addition to on-site teachers available during school hours, Pivot students have online access to California-credentialed teachers who can provide immediate assistance 24 hours a day during the school week.

Pivot Charter School is ideal for many students, including home-schooled students, those needing a flexible schedule due to work or outside activity or family obligations, students living in remote locations, advanced learners or students with health or physical challenges.
