KONE Recognized for Excellence in Execution and Customer Satisfaction

LISLE, Ill., Oct. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- KONE Inc. is proud to announce it has been named a leader in supplier execution and customer satisfaction by Johnson Controls. As part of Johnson Controls' Supplier Excellence Recognition Awards, a select group of 16 suppliers were honored for demonstrating exemplary performance and leadership throughout the past year. KONE was awarded the Leadership Award in Customer Satisfaction and the award for Excellence in Execution by Johnson Controls' Building Efficiency group.

KONE accepted the two awards at the Johnson Control's Supplier Excellence Recognition Event held on October 24th, part of its annual Supplier Day Conference. The event was held at the Women's Club of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and led by senior leadership in Johnson Controls' Building Efficiency group.

The award for Excellence in Execution is based on a variety of metrics and demonstrates a supplier's consistent performance in areas such quality, service, supply chain management and sustainability. KONE was the recipient of the Platinum award, the highest of the four levels.

The Leadership Awards are presented in seven categories including innovation, quality, global growth, sustainability, shareholder value, continuous improvement and customer service. KONE was awarded with the Leadership Award in Customer Satisfaction, based upon it's consistent and proven accomplishments and leadership in that category.
