Updates to LOS provide more advanced workflow, added compliance with data standards
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- To ensure lenders have the latest tools to maximize productivity, Financial Industry Computer Systems, Inc. (FICS®), a provider of loan origination software (LOS) for the mortgage industry, has released an update to its next generation platform of Loan Producer®. The update provides users with an even more streamlined loan file workflow and intuitive user interface, further reducing time spent managing loan files.
Loan Producer continues to provide users with a simple navigation interface, and utilizes shareable services to enable interoperability with FICS’ residential loan servicing and online mortgage loan application software. The new update also accommodates additional features to further ensure compliance with data standards and frequently changing industry regulations.
"FICS is constantly updating and improving their products, whether in response to regulatory changes or requests from customers. The newest version of Loan Producer once again raises the bar, and we are extremely pleased with the results," said Elizabeth Conrado, vice president, Residential Lending, for Long Beach, Calif.-based LBS Financial Credit Union. "As we migrated to the latest platform, the responsiveness of FICS' customer service department underscored one of many reasons we have remained a long-time customer -- and why I can't imagine ever changing LOS systems!"
Loan Producer, a fully automated LOS built on the .NET Framework, provides lenders of all sizes with comprehensive underwriting, compliance and closing functions within a rich Microsoft® Windows® Presentation Foundation (WPF) user interface. The software is also fully compliant with Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) standards, to support any third-party services that meet the association’s requirements for certain transaction sets.
“The rate of change within the mortgage industry continues to drive FICS’ innovation in our ongoing initiative to fully support the business needs of loan originators,” said Susan Graham, president and COO of FICS. “Loan Producer is constantly updated and enhanced to ensure our customers are always current in regard to industry regulations and demands, as well as equipped with the automation necessary to make the most of their valuable time and improve the service experience for their borrowers.”
