MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Regis Corporation (NYSE: RGS) is mobilizing efforts to help its team members and guests affected by Hurricane Sandy. The company announced today that it is working with its disaster aid partner to deliver haircare products to impacted areas. Regis is also donating funds to the American Red Cross to help with relief efforts.

Currently, Regis is assessing the storm's impact on all of its corporate and franchised salon concepts. The company estimates that over 560 salons were affected by the storm; at this time over 475 have re-opened. Regis' operational teams and franchisees are working to re-open all locations as soon as possible.
