Sage Products Receives Frost & Sullivan Product Differentiation Excellence Award

CARY, Ill., Oct. 1, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sage Products Inc. has received the Product Differentiation Excellence Award from Frost & Sullivan for the new Nose to Toes™ preoperative prep system. Frost & Sullivan is a global research organization that monitors more than 300 industries and 25,000 companies.

The Nose to Toes system, a joint product between Sage Products and 3M's Infection Prevention Division, provides skin antisepsis, nasal antisepsis and oral cleansing to help address infection risk factors on the three main reservoirs of bacteria—the skin, the nares and the oral cavity. The system is used before surgery as part of a comprehensive approach to reducing the #1 risk factor for surgical site infection, the patient's own flora.
