COLD SRING HARBOR, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cold Spring Harbor Country Club has arguably established a one reason record for holes-in-one with 21 this season.

The odds of making a hole in one, according to Golf Digest are 1 in 3,756 for a tour pro and 1 in 12,750 for an amateur. The odds are even more daunting according to Ireland’s National Hole in One Club at 1 in 33,000 and according to Sports Illustrated at 1 in 45,000.
Imagine then that 21 amateurs made holes-in-one at three distinctly different holes at Cold Spring Country Club. The 3rd hole, which plays between 116-154 yards had 13, the 11th hole (115-175 yards) had 5 and the 17th hole, the club’s signature hole with water along the left side of the green (143-201 yards) had 3. The 13th hole, which plays over water (125-201 yards), had none.
Cold Spring Country Club features a Seth Raynor designed course with 18 magnificent holes circling Oheka Castle. Other Raynor designed courses include The Creek Club in Locust Valley, Mid Ocean Club in Bermuda, The Old White at Greenbrier and Shoreacres outside Chicago.
