Brent crude settles lower on weak data from Asia, Europe

NEW YORK, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Brent crude futures slipped in light trading on Monday as signs of economic weakness in Asia and evidence of a new recession in the euro zone weighed on sentiment.

Brent November crude fell 20 cents to settle at $112.19 a barrel, having traded from $111.47 a barrel to $113.27 a barrel.
